About

THE ORIGIN OF SO CO CYCLE + LAGREE

So Co was born out of Founder Kara’s passion for cycling, which began in the early ’90s. Kara recognized a need to create a welcoming, inclusive community where South County residents could move their bodies, challenge themselves, and feel supported every step of the way.

Since opening our doors, So Co has continued to grow alongside our community. What started as an indoor cycling studio has evolved into a boutique fitness destination with two locations in Narragansett and North Kingstown. Today, we offer Cycle, Lagree, Mega Mat, and Strength classes, giving members a variety of ways to train while staying part of the same encouraging community.

Our certified instructors thoughtfully program classes, motivating playlists, and a supportive atmosphere that help members achieve their goals in a way that feels both challenging and fun.

What truly sets So Co apart is the community. Whether it’s starting the day together, celebrating milestones together, or sharing a high-five after class, our studios are filled with people who genuinely cheer each other on. It’s more than a workout; it’s a place to connect, grow stronger, and feel like you belong.

OUR
MISSION

So Co is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their holistic goals in a supportive and results-driven environment.

We believe that fitness should be fun and encouraging, which is why we offer a variety of class types ranging from cycling to Lagree and strength training. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, everyone is welcome at So Co, and our goal is to help individuals feel accomplished, energized, and focused on themselves.

WHY WE’RE DIFFERENT

Every class is led by certified instructors who are passionate about helping you succeed. They provide personalized guidance, motivation, and modifications so every workout is challenging, effective, and accessible regardless of your experience level.

At So Co, you’re more than just a reservation on the schedule. From the moment you walk through the door, you’ll be welcomed into a community that celebrates your wins, supports your goals, and makes fitness something you look forward to.

With two studio locations and four unique class formats (Cycle, Lagree, Mega Mat, and Strength), you can build a balanced fitness routine all under one roof. Whether you’re looking for cardio, strength, low-impact training, or core-focused movement, there’s a class for every goal, every fitness level, and every day of the week.
